Geneva International Motor Show

Geneva International Motor Show is the annual grand show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. In the year 1905, from 29 April to 7 May the first-ever Geneva International Motor Show was held, where the salon hosted almost all major internal combustion-engined models in the history of the automobile.

Although exotic supercars grabbed little attention at the debut of the show. In the event, prototypes, new equipment, technical breakthroughs, international partnerships, as well as political and social debates, have been announced at the exhibition which made the event more successful.

It was a big success for the Geneva International Motor Show because in Switzerland there’s already a lack of automobile companies and still managed to produce this event.

With almost its 37 stands welcomed over 17,000 visitors and the Confederation sent Federal Councillor Ludwig Forrer to the inauguration.
