Hypercars or supercars in this current timeline are way out of reach, because of the insane amount of price tag they come with. Not everyone can experience super-speed cars and enjoy their luxurious sporty interior of them.
But there are various manufacturers out there who offer cheaper alternatives to otherwise insane hypercars and supercars.
Factory Five happens to be one of them and makes much more than wanna-be supercars and attention seekers.
Factory Five GTM is built from the ground and shares a lot of its components with General Motors. Fun fact, most of its components are shared with the C5 Corvette and Corvette Z06 from the years: 1997-2004.
But there’s only one part that’s different and taken off from other automobiles is its transaxle which is a Porsche 911 derivative.
It’s not the usual Kit-car that comes with nothing, Factory Five GTM comes with additional benefits such as a comfortable cabin complete with infotainment and even an air-con system.
Factory Five GTM – Built From The Ground
For those who don’t know, Factory Five was formed in 1995 and is known for its remarkable replica supercars out there. But GTM isn’t a replica, it’s purely designed overall from inside and out.
One of the fascinating things about the Factory Five GTM is that it’s extremely fast and loud. But it’s cost-efficient in every way possible compared to other elite brands out there.
As per the sources, the car was said to be influenced by the Saleen S7. As with the 65, this was underpinned by a tubular space frame chassis.
As mentioned, Factory Five GTM is value for speed and money. GTM is a kit car that packs a 400hp Corvette engine and can do 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. It is the cheapest and most customizable supercar experience you can get.
Now the price revealing time, the Factory Five GTM supercar will cost you around $25,000 and that’s the real price.
The GTM is customizable, the makers provide all the major components except the powertrain.
As they give customers the liberty to choose between various Vette engines used in the C5 Corvette from the late 90s and early 20s, there are a lot of options to get hold of one.
This ultimate flexibility surely gives a big leverage to the customer to build their dream supercar around their premium budget.
Factory Five GTM – Surprisingly Luxurious Interior
At this price point, it’s not going to offer a luxurious and spacious interior. That’s what might everyone would have said it.
But the Factory Five GTM supercar has got a luxurious interior in this price tag, which is unbelievable with a 13-inch steering wheel that is wrapped in leather along with an Auto Meter digital instrument cluster.
Sporty bucket seats with soft leather are not that high-end premium but go with the overall interior design and offer pure comfort while driving.
Comparing the interior material quality to the Hongqi E-HS9 didn’t even come close. Whereas Hongqi costs way more than GTM and still doesn’t offer premium quality material.
With that price tag Factory, Five GTM supercar undoubtedly lived up to the expectations and exceeded for future cars.
