This time Porsche is back with the ‘Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is back with the important updates and some changes. There’s no denying in that, Porsche’s cars have been listed among the best supercars of all time.

Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is Back

It’s not the first time, Porsche has done this, it’s the second time Porsche added a touring package. For those who don’t know what a touring package is, then here it is for you.

The touring package deletes the rear wings to make it more disguise while ripping toward its 9000-rpm redline.

But the good news is that it’s still going to be offered with a no-cost option on the upcoming new 922 generation model and it will start arriving first in the US next year early.

Unlike the standard GT3, the touring package offers the automated deployment of a rear spoiler that can be controlled by the infotainment screen. You can raise it and lower it with a single button and that’s the best use of advanced technology for sure.

There’s no doubt Porsche has always surprised us with their unique improvements and has been on the list of best cars of all time.

Apart from that, nothing has been changed in the car. The Porsche spokesperson said, “the Touring’s curb weight is 3164 pounds, the same as the standard GT3. On our scales, it weighed 3222 pounds.”

An interesting fact, that both of the Gt3s have an unequal-length control-arm front suspension which is highly inspired by the 911 RSR race car. The very first for 911 and new for the adaptive damper.

Come to the engine, they also stayed with the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that produces 502 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque with a 9000-rpm rev limiter.

On the standard GT3, you get a seven-speed dual-clutch automated which is normal, but also there’s a six-speed manual dual-clutch available with no extra fancy charge.

Interior & Design It’s All About That

As the main headline of the car is a touring package, in which you also get some other visual tweaks as well.

Silver trim outlining the windows, and the front end’s color matches the body (the standard GT3’s is blacked out) these things are included specifically in the touring package and it’s impressive.

The Gt3 badge stays at the same spot as always and the sport exhaust tips are finished with the fine silver, but you can order in black too it’s up to you. The interior has now more leather materials which include touring-specific embossed surfaces, and fabric seat inserts.

The Porsche 911 GT3 will be available in 2022 and you can order it now. As mentioned, it will arrive early start of the next year and cost you $163,450, no difference in the price as the standard one.
