What comes in your mind when you hear the word LOTUS?
An unbeatably powerful car, which exceeds expectations?
Frankly, yes. The lotus Evija is the fastest electric sports car which is introduced by the British manufacturer limited to 130 units.
If we look into the history or background of Evija, then its specifications tells us that Evija is powered by a greater power back of 70 kWh. It comes with the acceleration of 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
Interior and Exterior Design:
The exterior tells that it’s the first road car to have laser lights for both beans. It is a multipurpose car as every component performs different functions. The red LED lights each tunnel in order to replicate the look of jet’s afterburner.
There are no side mirrors because they would harm the drag of the car. The way it looks exciting from outside/exterior, it is as ravishing from inside as well.
The interior look is not disappointing either. If we start from the doors, then they are handling free and the seats are Alcantara padded with seat belts of three points. The steering wheel is unique and controls all the drive modes. It’s not like the standard road car.
The display screen is digital and gives comfort features like Car play, Android Auto and Climate Control although the battery range and driving range are highly compatible.
Riders who have experienced its driving are highly satisfied because the Evija is centrally placed for better weight distribution and center of gravity. Its battery is placed behind the driver and passenger.
The wheels are of 20 and 21 inch magnesium. One likes to find out about little design details that most folks might not notice.
For example, the Evija’s headlights feature tiny ribs inside the lamps, and the designers intend these flourishes to look like war paint around the lights. In addition, buyers can customize the metal trim running along the center of the seats to make the strip have any message that they want.
“ THE FIRST BRITISH
The thrilling next chapter of one of the greatest automotive stories ever told. The Lotus Evija continues a rich, 70-year tradition of iconic, game-changing road and racing cars.
A bloodline steeped in daring innovation and radical thinking takes another revolutionary leap forward.”
Lotus is targeting a total vehicle weight of just 3707 pounds with giving F1 style steering wheel. Evija with Lotus is built for speed. Lotus says it will also test the car at home on the Hethel circuit as well as on other circuits around Europe known to feature challenging corners and longer stretches of straight road where the Evija can build up speed.
In the coming months, several prototypes will accumulate thousands of miles and hundreds of hours of testing on tracks and public roads.
